Michael was born in the USA of parents who emigrated from Norway. He and his family lived in Fergus Falls, MN. Michael and several members of his family homesteaded in what is now Holyoke, CO. Eventually, he sold out his Colorado property an
d returned to Fergus Falls. Unfortunately, soon thereafter, he was swindled out of all his profits, and it totally broke him in mind & spirit.
