| Well, one might ask why I take the time
to redesign this web page even though I have no evidence that anyone has
ever looked at it. But, to ask you'd have to send me an e-mail, and
then I'd have proof... |

Crawler v0.2 beta can be downloaded. - This
has some art I copied from various public domain sources.
-
The tiles are now selectable in edit mode. So
different areas have a different look.

Implemented this news page for DungeonZ. Yea!!
-
Created "Crawler" - the engine that runs a first
person view of dungeons. This is currently a stand alone exe that runs
a first person dungeon window. It is about the sophistication level (or
at least it will be when I get all the features implemented) of wolfenstien
3d - that is to say outdated. This is my first attempt at pseudo 3d - I'll
attempt true 3d when direct-x 7 is out (direct x 7 has VB tool set for
3d implementation - so I'm told)
-
My first download. Posted Crawler v .1b on the
site for download. Send comments to kanderson@visi.com. Keep in mind that
this is not intended to be competitive with the current high end games.
If you are interested in seeing the game improve, speak to me. If all you
have to say is "this sucks" don't bother - I already know the big corporations
can do it better - this project is for my own fun, and for those of you
that might enjoy working on or playing a simple freeware game.
