Probably, this deck can only be played in a 4-player (minimum) game. It depends on the other players ability to keep each other in check.
Hoard as many cards in your hand as possible while your opponents are playing their cards and sending each other's cards to their dead piles.
Play your resources. Play cards that let you cycle through your deck in order to find THE CUT-UPS MACHINE (if you're lucky enough to have multiple copies, put those in -- I only have 1).
You want to let the game go on as long as possible. As your opponents establish solid conspiracies, play your KAMIKAZI, RAMPAGE, and RAIN OF WALRUS to send lots of opponent's cards to the dead piles.
When someone is close to winning, you play THE CUT-UPS MACHINE to re-start the game.
CUT-UPS MACHINE: "...each player starts with an equal number of cards as he or she had outside the deck and dead pile when the Machine was cranked. Players now have 0 Influence. The Influence goal for the new game is half the normal number..."
You should be starting with a ton of cards. You opponent's should have much less.
The final kicker is that you put MATTI AALTONEN into play. He increases the cost of all ASTRAL cards by 1. That includes your ASTRAL WISDOM resources. Since they now cost "1", the "play only 1 zero-cost card" rule does not apply. Bang down all of your resources in one turn, giving you plenty of pull to call those very expensive "GHOSTS." Since the Influence goal should be only 5 or 6, race to the finish line before your opponent's can barely get started.
DISCLAIMERS:
Of course, this deck fails if THE CUT-UPS MACHINE is on the bottom of your starting deck. But that only happened to me the *first* time I played it. :)
It's kind of a gimmick deck. If your opponents know you're playing it, I suspect they'll just hold onto all their cards and wait you out.
