When listing relationships to others, we're not
attempting to be comprehensive. For example, when listing children,
we're only listing children living on the Island or temporarily away. Almost
all families have additional children who have chosen to live permanently
abroad, mostly in New Zealand where the majority of children go for
advanced schooling. An occasional reference is made to deceased persons
or persons living off the island in order to help place a Pitcairner's
relationship to others in the Pitcairn community.
